With Saturday fast approaching you will want to look your best, whether you’ll be spending time with your loved one or with friends or maybe even alone. Possibilities are endless when it comes to Valentine’s Day, and if you’re having trouble finding what to wear for the special day, that’s where we come in. We’ve got you covered for every type of date and if you’re not so fond of the color red, don’t worry we’ve come prepared.

The Hot Night Date

If you’ve got night plans with your significant other, it’s the perfect opportunity to go bold. Red lipstick can make your overall look even classier or sexier depending how you roll, but fuchsia lipstick can also be a good choice. A red dress would be a must in this situation, but if you don’t wish to be mainstream you can always go for the classic little black dress.

The Casual Date

Going out to the movies or for a romantic stroll in the nearby park can be as fun as going to a fancy restaurant. If you’re plans involve a day out in the sun, the best thing would be to go for a minimalist look with a touch of mascara and eyeliner and if you feel like it you could always opt for a pink lipstick. As for your outfit, you want to be comfortable and still look stylish so why not go for a pants look. If you’re more on the cute side you can always go with a midi dress and a belt to accentuate your waist. And if you want to give your feet a holiday you can always wear ballerina flats.

The Staying In Date

You might not be one for extravagant dates or you just want to cuddle with your so after a home cooked meal and a movie you found on Netflix. If that’s the case, we suggest a natural look with minimal make up. For this variation there’s no need to reach for your high heels, now we’re not saying you should wear a tracksuit, unless you want to, because that’s fine too, but you can dress up if you feel like it. Fashion wise, this type of date is similar to the casual date, here are our ideas.

The Girls Night In/Galantine

All the single ladies, gather your friends and order a pizza, find a good movie and let the night begin. Maybe you can turn the whole thing into a sleepover and you and your friends can do each other’s hair and makeup, because why not? Get as comfortable as you want and just enjoy yourself.
