At times it’s hard to keep track of T. Swift’s celebrity friendships since it seems like she’s changing them like socks, much like relationships. One day she’s friends with Katy Perry, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus and then the next day she’s buddies with Lorde. But right now, not only is she not friends with the Dark Horse singer, but she’s writing songs about their “fake” friendship.
If she can write songs about former lovers, then why wouldn’t she be able to write songs about former friends? Taylor is well known for using her life experience when writing lyrics and sometimes she’s ridiculed because of it, but then again it’s also her signature, along with red lipstick.
When her album, 1989 was released, people were looking left and right to see who Taylor Swift was going to sing about, and then they stumbled upon the jewel that is Bad Blood. Swift, herself, confirmed that the song was indeed about Katy Perry.
The two pop singers’ feud was getting even more heat when Katy tweeted “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.” And as if the whole thing wasn’t big enough, Perry’s new boyfriend, better known as Diplo, decided to add more fire when he tweeted yesterday: “Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty.” Naturally, Swift’s fans were quick to back up their artist, tweeting replies back to the music producer.
And if that wasn’t enough, Taylor’s knight in shiny armor turned out to be her new BFF, Lorde who decided to stand up for her friend by telling the world about the DJ’s tiny manhood. Interestingly enough, Diplo and Lorde are not exactly strangers seeing how the former was the one who remixed the Royals singer’s track Tennis Court for the upcoming Hunger Gamesmovie, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.
