The Heat actress is about to make her childhood wish come true by signing a deal with Sunrise Brands, which is behind Skechers, Superdry and Seven7 Jeans. The actress dreamed about this moment ever since she was a little girl and used to cut out patterns from Vogue magazine.
The first question that everyone has is about the type of clothing McCarthy will be showing us. Well, it turns out that the actress is planning to launch a casual sportswear line and the whole thing is set to come alive in fall 2015. According to the actress’s words, the line will not have the plus size label, instead, it will be available to all sizes. The line will not only feature clothes, but also beauty products and accessories.
Looks like the actress will be going back to her roots, seeing how she was taking classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, before she decided to pursue stand up comedy. McCarthy has revealed that she will be focusing on her fashion line for the moment as she wants everything to be perfect.
Naturally, this makes sense since she is backing up the line and for something she’s been dreaming her life, now would not be the moment to give it into someone else’s hands. I told them I’d be at every fitting and on my hands and knees checking the hems,” said the actress. “Now they’re probably thinking, ‘Why doesn’t she go away?’
But I can only do this if I really believe in it and want to wear it.”We completely agree with McCarthy on this and we have no doubt that she will give us amazing results. And now we have one thing more to anticipate in 2015. Happy waiting!
