Beyonce is probably the ultimate fashion diva and is really known for rocking all that she wears on her bootylicious curvaceous body. Lest we forget how she took the Glastonbury festival by storm whereby she was regarded as the only female ever to hit headlines regarding the fiesta some years back. Queen Bee, as she is popularly known, looked amazingly stunning donning her quite big and visible gold hair and a gold spangle belted jacket or dress. No one really cared what it really was after all it was Beyonce. Of course not forgetting the hot pants or were they corsets? Again, it was Beyonce being just that, Beyonce.
The Beyonce obsession started way back during the 90’s when she used to front what we can say was the one of the most popular and top selling all-girl groups in the world, Destiny’s Child. With four number 1 albums, winning sixteen Grammy awards as well as a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame, there isn’t a doubt that Beyonce still stands as one of the most successful celebrities in the free world.
Despite Beyonce’s frantic showbiz schedule, she usually finds time to indulge in other sorts of accolades. Quite notable ones being part of the parade in a catwalk by Tom Ford where she wore a sparkling gold frock as well as acting in a number of Hollywood blockbusters like Austin Powers: Goldmember. Beyonce has also tried her hand in designing. In 2005, the sensational vocalist launched the ready-to-wear elegant label called ‘House of Dereon’ which is named after her grandmother.
With such fame one can only imagine all designers wanting to dress her. However, Beyonce likes keeping such things within her family. The curvaceous singer’s mum, Tina, who is also partner to House of Dereon, was the one who designed Mrs. Carter’s gorgeously extravagant classic white wedding gown for their nuptials day.
