Recently it’s been a trend to stage reunions for former popular shows like One Tree Hill, Roswell and Boy Meets World. And while there was already a mini Gilmore Girls reunion when the majority of the members of Hep Alien (Keiko Agena, Todd Lowe and John Cabrera) came together last month for a mini gig, we are now prepared for the real thing.
Even though the former CW comedy drama series Gilmore Girls ended back in 2007, May 15th to be exact, it has been gathering attention recently when it was made available on Netflix on October 1st. And that was a pretty big deal for the people who have seen it and for those who now had the opportunity to watch it.
The ones responsible for the Gilmore Girls reunion are the ATX Television Festival in Austin and the whole thing will happen from June 4th to 7th. It will bring back together the creator of the show, Amy Sherman-Palladino and the two main stars of the show, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bladel, the ones we all know as Lorelai and Rory. This will have to be ATX’s biggest reunion and they had some amazing ones like, Roswell and Friday Night Lights.
The creator of the show herself is pretty excited about the whole thing and these were her thoughts on the matter: “Gilmore was the highlight of my ridiculous life. I can’t wait to sit with these unbelievable broads and relive a time where sleep did not exist, where stress and coffee were mama’s little helpers and where we all dove in to the deep end together to make something weird and very, very cool.”
We can’t imagine what the three wonderful ladies have in store for us, but we are prepared for all of it. The countdown for the reunion has begun!
