Last week there was talk about famous recordproducer and singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams teaming up with non-other than Cara Delevigne, an English model turned actress for her upcoming music debut. And now, the two are taking their business to the next level and are going to star in Karl Lagerfeld’s latest movie, which was shot in a studio in Paris last week.
According to the director himself, Karl Lagerfeld, the movie will feature dancing and will also guest star Hudson Kroenig also known as the cutest six-year-old pro when it comes to Chanel runaways. The mini film will see the light of the day during Chanel’s pre-fall collection show better known as Métiersd’Art.Our bet is that the film might even showcase Cara Delevigne’s music debut, only time will tell.
Pharrell Williams can already do many things and now he can add acting to that list. So far, the ‘Happy’ singer tapped into singing, song writing, producing, rapping, drumming, guitar playing, keyboard playing and fashion designing and styling (every person in the world has heard of his signature bigger than usual hat). It really seems that there is nothing he can do without succeeding.
As for the twenty two year old model, we already know she can walk the walk and model the most expensive fashion pieces. We were able to see her venture into acting in the 2012 film adaptation of Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina, so the upcoming Chanel film should not be a problem for her. Who knows, she might even give Pharrell some acting pointers.
And her music debut is highly anticipated, mostly because she has Pharrell behind her and we all know she could not be in better hands.
Needless to say, we are all very excited to see Lagerfeld’s newest film, in great part for the Hudson Kroenig, dubbed the cutest kid ever. Pharrell’s acting is surely another thing that will keep us on our toes and we’re really wondering what kind of magic he and Delavigne will make for us, perhaps in a form of the film’s soundtrack. Fingers crossed.
